SIEU2306 Understanding budgets
Aspirational leaders in school often find themselves with responsibilities that are outside the usual skills required to teach students in a classroom. This session will focus on tips and techniques to help manage the finances and budget within a school context. It will not be a comprehensive financial education training package, but a series of ideas and reflections that can help you improve your budgeting and financial management. It is designed for those with no formal financial training. The course is designed to give you practical assistance, even if you are only managing a small budget for a team, but it will also help you to identify areas of skill development if you are looking to advance to senior leadership roles.
