2022 IEU(SA) Annual REP Award Presentations
IEU(SA) Sub-Branch Representatives (Reps) from St Peter’s Woodlands Grammar School and Walford Anglican School for Girls led the way in 2022 (and continue to do so) through engagement of members and staff; particularly with recent Enterprise Agreement bargaining.
These Reps actively brought staff together in their schools and collectively they were successful in sending a clear message to management that the school’s offers in terms of financial pay increments was not supported.
St Peter’s Reps and staff successfully voted down the school’s first offer and as a result the school had to reconsider its offer and put it up for a 2nd vote which was accepted by staff.
At Walford, Reps, members and staff have twice collectively rejected the schools offer. They have united our membership in the approach and are leading the staff on achieving a fair outcome for all. The Walford EA is still in negotiation.
We congratulate and thank:
- Mark DeLaine, Heidi Kerr and Fleur Kennedy from St Peter’s Woodlands Grammar School
