Congratulations to Lezelle Williams and Andrew Meyer of Portside Christian College, you are our 2024 IEU(SA) Annual Rep Award winners.
IEU(SA) Organiser Bruno Sartoretto (right) nominated Lezelle and Andrew to recognise their collective work this year to organise and recruit members, and working proactively to ensure communications from the IEU were heard by members; which assists in normalising union discussions in the workplace.
This has ensured that members have a strong collective voice at Enterprise Agreement (EA) negotiations—negotiations that have been solid with the introduction of significant workload items into the EA, including the redraft of the school timetable for 2025.
