Catholic EB24 Update
Negotiations between the IEU(SA) and Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) continue.
Meeting updates were emailed to all Catholic IEU(SA) Members on Wednesday 4 February and Friday 6 February.
Bargaining Status: Ongoing – Key Issues Unresolved
While progress has been made in some areas, significant matters remain unresolved:
- Salary
- Workload
- Curriculum extension activities
- Education Support Officer conditions
- Country incentives
- Class sizes
- WHS matters
- Preschool issues
At this stage, the IEU cannot recommend the proposed Enterprise Agreement in its current form.
Further discussions are scheduled for Tuesday 24 February 2026.
If matters remain unresolved, conciliation through the Fair Work Commission may be required.
