Note to parents from school staff

Staff at a number of Catholic schools are taking Protected Industrial Action (PIA) after Catholic Enterprise Agreement negotiations stalled following 18 months of enterprise bargaining.

During that time, they have not received a pay rise and have had limited success negotiating for adequate time to perform all the elements of our jobs.

They need Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) to agree to an improved offer so they can get back to jobs they love doing.

Members and staff will soon provide copies of flyers to parents asking them to support the industrial action. It is really important that parents understand why this happening and the flyer helps to explain that.

Your feedback will be collated by the IEU and shared with staff through the IEU Rep at their school. Only your first name will be included with your message. We ask for your full name and email address so we can verify who has submitted the feedback.
