Farewell to Carly Dale
In March we said farewell to a dear colleague and friend Carly Dale. Carly joined the IEU 18 years ago, she is our longest serving staff member. She worked in our administration team and what she did not know about membership was not worth knowing.
We celebrated with lunch and a poem reading. Here is a small sample:
Carly’s Going – Boo Hoo
Carly’s been with us through thick and thin
She’s our office survivor, a whizz with cars ‘n tools.
Holden’s and Buicks to mention only two.
Morning teas will never be the same
Now Carly’s gone – It’s such a great shame
I’m sure you’ll pine for our weekly yoga sessions
Where twisting, turning and bending into knots
Caused moaning, groaning and complaints – lots and lots!
Eighteen years of service at IEUSA
It’s a pretty good innings we’d have to say.
