We welcome two new Organisers to our team.
Meredith Farmer
Meredith Farmer is an experienced unionist who comes to us from the AEU, where she has worked as an Organiser and Industrial Organiser.
Prior to her union work she was a teacher who worked in both Primary and Secondary settings as a drama and Humanities specialist.p
Meredith will be coordinating the Women’s and Equity Committee. She also has responsibility for a range of sites including Islamic schools and the Barossa and Riverland regions.
Lou Vodic
Lou Vodic is an experienced teacher and Sub-Branch Rep. Lou will be replacing Priscilla Corbell while she is on parental leave during 2023.
Lou has contemporary teaching experience, both in Adelaide and overseas, most recently in Secondary Visual Arts and Design.
She brings this relevant, recent school knowledge to our Organising team.
Lou will be coordinating Pre-service Teachers and IEU(SA)’s University student engagement and she also has responsibility for a range of school sites and the South East region.
