IEU presents at the SASTA Early Careers Conference 2021
Last month, Tim Oosterbaan (IEU Pre-service Teacher Coordinator) was invited to present to early pre-service and early career teachers at the SA Science Teachers Association (SASTA) Early Careers Conference.
The conference was well organised as usual and held at Nazareth College, Kidman Park.
Apart from presenting the benefits of IEU membership to potential members, Tim was able to speak to many pre-service and early career teachers who are already IEU members.
A number of new Student Associate Members joined after the presentation. Pre-service teachers can join for free and new teachers receive up to 50% fee discount in their first year of teaching.
We are always looking for opportunities to engage with potential members and to meet up with current members to discuss how they are going with their career and to check if we can be of any assistance.
