IEU(SA) Women – we are seeking your insights
The IEU(SA) Equity Committee is seeking to know how we can better enable women’s voices to be heard in our union, whether that be in your school Sub-Branch, in Enterprise Bargaining, regarding the information and resources you seek, or in the direction of our union.
We want to know what works for you when it comes to being involved in your union.
Responses will provide direction for both our Equity Committee and the IEU(SA) Branch with respect to gendered matters and the support of IEU women, who make up the majority of our members.
So far, we have over 180 responses but with over 2,360 IEU(SA) women members, we would like to receive far more responses. The survey will be open until Friday 30 January 2026 (end of Week 1). The link to the survey was sent to you by email and sent SMS.
It only takes a few minutes, but your response makes a big difference in ensuring IEU women members’ voices are heard.
‘Early bird’ survey responders (pre-5 December) went into a draw for one of three $75 gift vouchers, and the winning names were drawn by the members of the IEU(SA) Equity Committee (pictured above).
The winner’s names won’t be published as all survey responses are confidential, but our Equity Committee Coordinator Meredith Farmer will be in contact with the winners.
