International Women’s Day Dinner at Sparkke on Whitmore Square

The guest speaker this year will be Nikki Sullivan, curator of the Migration Museum in Adelaide. In a former life, she was Associate Professor of Critical and Cultural Studies at Macquarie University.

Nikki will be talking about the early suffragists movement to celebrate the passing of the Universal Suffrage Bill in the SA Parliament on 18 December 1894 and the enactment of the Bill two months after its passing, when Queen Victoria signed her Assent on 2 February 1895. She will also talk about her role as curator of the museum creating inclusive displays of our history.

As with all IWD Dinners, it will be a great night of catching up with like-minded people, networking and socialising. Bring your mothers, daughters and friends.

Cost is $50 for all food and drinks.
