Meet your IEU(SA) Industrial Team
2024 brings enhanced assistance for members with a larger Industrial Team.
Our long-serving Industrial Officer, Frank Bernardi, will be joined this year by Dan Farmer and Robert Seals.

Dan Farmer
Dan worked the last part of 2024 in our Adelaide office and we welcome him back this year. Dan’s focus on members and his knowledge of both public and independent sectors is second to none. Prior to working at the IEU Dan worked as an Industrial officer at the United Firefighter Union and before that at the Australian Education Union (the Union for department Teachers and Support Staff).
Robert Seals
Joining the IEU team this year is Robert Seals. Robert has been a lawyer for 9 years with considerable union experience. He most recently worked for the South Australian Salaried Medical Officers Association (the Union for Doctors), and prior to that role, Robert worked at the IEU NSW/ACT branch. So, his experience working with teachers and support staff is well grounded.
This enhanced industrial capacity will help the Organiser Team to get collective outcomes for members.
The Organiser Team is led by Meredith Farmer.
