Nominations are now open for the inaugural Flying Start Early Childhood Awards

These awards are a natural extension of the Flying Start reforms, and celebrate the dedication, expertise, and heart professionals bring to their roles every day.
Nominations are welcome for individuals and services across the sector and are not specific to Flying Start 3-year-old preschool partner services.
Award recipients across the Flying Start Early Childhood Award categories will receive prizes in the form of a $10,000 professional learning grant designed to strengthen early childhood practice.
Help recognise outstanding educators, leaders and services across South Australia and nominate those making an impact via: Flying Start Early Childhood Awards. Nominations are open until 31 July 2026.
