Rain doesn’t spoil the FEAST Picnic in the (very damp) Park!

Whilst committed to fulfilling our annual commitment to support FEAST Picnic in the park, officers and members of the IEU endured constant wet weather but it didn’t dampen the overall spirits of attendees at Whitmore Square/Iparrityi.
We were also joined by Teachers Health team members Jason and Lisa-Marie.
Given the constant rain, attendance numbers may have been a little lower; however, IEU officers, and members of our Equity committee, enjoyed the opportunity to speak with university education students and others interested in the support of LGBTIQA+ staff and students in non-government schools.
Part of our promotional items on the day were custom designed IEU(SA) Proud Union’ buttons, bookmarks and stickers, to show our support.
