Recently the United Trades and Labour Council of South Australia (SA Unions) finalised the purchase of a property on 254 Waymouth Street, Adelaide.
For those not familiar with the northwestern CBD area, SA Union’s building and the IEU(SA) building sit at either end of North Street, which connects Currie Street to Waymouth Street.
For many years, SA has been without a Trades Hall and that will now be rectified when SA Unions move in from January 2025.
IEU staff are excited to have SA Unions nearby and we believe it will allow collaboration between staff.
SA Unions have been instrumental in driving and delivering outcomes for working people, particularly through engagement with government around legislative changes.
